As of 2021, we are pleased to introduce our new ‘Bell Tent’ camping. These are pre-erected and although not quite ‘glamping’, they do include some camping comforts that would not be found on the main campsite. As with the rest of the site, this area will still maintain a ‘back to basics’ feel, so you can find the escapism you are looking for. There are two 5m, Ultimate Pro bell tents available to hire. They are situated in their own corner of a wildflower meadow with countryside views. Pitched way from the main campsite and closer to the farm and facilities. Often our cows are grazing in the adjacent field to keep you company! These are top of the range bell tents, including optional zip mesh doors and lower wall sections that can allow airflow in hot weather, whilst also keeping out bugs and flies. Each bell tent is pre-erected and includes: Hand-made Indian ‘Rag Rug’ flooring, 1x double memory foam mattress (firm), 4x single roll sleep mats (available if needed), 2x giant bean bags, Small antique games table with chess, draughts and pack of cards for rainy days. Solar powered fairy lights around the tent doorway, Internal led lamp, A ground level fire pit with optional grill for cooking (firewood available at the farm - £10 per sack), A private picnic bench. A freestanding BBQ (charcoal available to purchase on site) You will need to bring: A double sheet to fit the mattress, your choice of bedding and pillows (sleeping bags, duvet etc). Any additional airbeds, sleeping bags, cooking and camping equipment or home comforts you require. Maximum 6 people per bell tent (Maximum of 4 Adults). There is a 3 night minimum booking over weekends, covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. £210 for a 3 night stay over weekends. There is a 2 night minimum booking on weeknights Bookings can only be either Monday and Tuesday nights (checkout by midday Wednesday) or Wednesday and Thursday nights (Checkout by midday Friday). £140 for a two night stay on weeknights. It is approximately 100 yards to the farm where you can find: the campsite shop, toilet, hot showers, washing up facilities and drinking water. Please be aware of the following: No large group bookings, all night parties or general misbehaviour. Noise to be kept to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am. There is no electric hook-up on the pitch. No additional tents to be pitched around the bell tent (with the exception of a small non- chemical toilet tent).
